Re-certification
to
ISO
9001:2000
Quality Management Standard
As part of our ongoing commitment to
continuous improvement, we are dedicated to maintaining our
certification as an ISO (International Standards Organizations)
9001 certified company . Our passion for quality drove us to become
ISO9001 certified. Our passion for continuous improvement now drives
our efforts to become certified to the newly revised ISO9001:2000
standards in Quality Management Systems (ISO9001:2000 Quality
Management Systems Standard).
McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (MPI)
first received certification to ISO9001 in 1999. Since then, MPI has
continued to maintain it's Quality Management System in compliance with
ISO standards. Effective December 2003, the International Standards
Organization will transition from an earlier version of ISO9001 (1994)
to the latest revision (2000). The new version of ISO9001 expands the
scope of Quality Management Systems to encompass a process approach to
total quality management. To maintain certification to ISO9001
standards, all ISO9001 certified companies must be in conformance to
the new, revised ISO9001 standard (ISO9001:2000). |

MPI employees have worked diligently to
upgrade and improve our existing quality management system to be
compliant with the ISO9001:2000 standard. Our transition process is
complete and we anticipate our first re-certification inspections in
December of 2003.
Our Quality Management System is the
core of our business operations. Our goal is to provide unparalleled
quality in the services and products we provide to our customers. Use
of the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System approach is a time proven
method for achieving this goal.
