Ascor L 500®
(Ascorbic Acid
Injection, USP)
McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (MPI) is
pleased to announce the release of Ascor L 500®, our
branded formula of Ascorbic Acid Injection, USP, as part of our
strategic product mix. The introduction of Ascor L 500®
continues to expand the company’s small volume, sterile injectable
product portfolio.
Ascor L 500® is indicated
for use in the prevention and treatment of scurvy. MPI’s Ascor L 500®
consists of a 50mL pharmacy bulk package of sterile,
preservative-free, pyrogen-free Ascorbic Acid, USP (500 mg/mL) in a
solution containing Edetate Disodium (0.025%), Water for Injection (q.s.)
and Sodium Bicarbonate for pH adjustment (pH 5.5 to 7.0). |
